Wives' Tales
This ongoing multimedia piece incorporates three decorative objects with uncertain histories and numerous audio "tales". The "tales" imagine possible biographies of the object creators, former owners, their uses and accounts of how each teller of the "tales" comes to know the object. "Wives' Tales" was installed in an exhibition in April 2014 at the Penn State Borland Gallery entitled "Curiosity Killed the Cat".
The Inside Joke Project
This interactive installation challenged the boundaries between public and private life, research and fiction, humor and discomfort, as well as socially conditioned behavior in art exhibition spaces. The piece was part of the group exhibition in December 2012 at the Penn State Borland Gallery entitled "Committing Humor: Subversive Humor in Visual Culture".
